Nora MacGregor isn’t particularly interested in sex; in fact her dissertation is based on sexual emotions being just a biological reaction. Obviously given the nature of the book, her view is about to be changed. However, not only does Nora meet Jarod, a professor at the university, who stirs something in her, she also starts an unusual telephone only relationship with James, the guy who found her dissertation research when she dropped it from her bag. Little does Nora know that Jarod and James are in fact the same person – he is well aware of the situation.
Talk Dirty To Me, while fairly short, is much more than a run-of-the-mill erotic story. It has proper, well developed characters and an interesting plot concept as well as being hot! The sex scenes are very natural and not over the top in any way and the relationship between Jarod and Nora develops nicely through the book.
I wasn’t aware that this was the second book of a series when I read it but as far as I can tell, that didn’t make much difference to me. It’s a nice easy read and I’ll be definitely looking out for other books by these authors.
